I totally get why this place is so popular! The food is incredible, and everything was just perfect. The only minor downside is the wait time, but it’s absolutely worth it.

If you love breakfast, you will love Cottage Cafe! Truly worth the wait on a busy Saturday morning. My favorite food to get here is the gravy with a side of toast and chowing down the house made strawberry jam with toast. I will not lie when I say the gravy and jam here are the main things I eat. My family loves almost every dish here besides the ones we haven’t tried yet which is surely soon to be eaten and loved. But seriously, if you love biscuits and gravy but especially gravy, please try Cottage Cafe! Yes, I did only get toast with a side of gravy so I could dip my toast as well as enjoy it with strawberry jam. Nothing beats this in my mind.

Best place around for breakfast. And I spent a week at several spots in Spokane valley looking for better. Couldn't find a better breakfast. Hashbrowns done really, really well. Sausage was delish and the eggs cooked just right. Professional service from wait staff (cute too!). Notice the homemade strawberry jelly in the background? A nice touch. Thank you!

Rolled into the Cottage Cafe for breakfast and left needing a nap and possibly a wheelbarrow. Ordered the King’s Omelet—a six-egger. Yeah, six eggs. That’s basically a dozen if you squint hard enough. I told them to hold the green peppers (because green peppers are evil) and swap in mushrooms instead. Most places would charge you a “mushroom handling fee,” but not here. Nope. Free swap. Legend status unlocked. Then came the tough question: hash browns or Cottage fries? I asked which one was better, and the waitress hits me with, “You can do half and half.” Wait—what? Both? No upcharge? Am I being pranked by the Breakfast Fairy? Sold. The homemade strawberry jam (or “Jane,” as my fat fingers texted it) was next-level on my sourdough toast. The omelet itself was enormous—like, should-come-with-a-safety-briefing enormous—and ridiculously good. I also got a side of sausage gravy—finally something they actually charged for—and holy smokes, that gravy turned into the MVP of the meal. Dumped it on my hash browns, fries, even the omelet. Zero regrets. Ten out of ten arteries agree. We sat at the counter, vibed to some old-school rap (shout-out to whoever put that playlist on), and watched the cooks crank out food like breakfast superheroes. The place was busy, spotless, and running smoother than a Waffle House on Red Bull. Bottom line: killer food, great people, clean spot, zero attitude. I’ll be back for round two—and yes, I’m ordering both kinds of potatoes again, because that’s who I am now.

Wait was about 30 minutes and the place is pretty small however the food was out within 10 minutes and service + food was amazing! We got the country fried steak and an omelette and it was so good! Also, the mimosas come in 16 or 32oz; I couldn’t finish it so I wish they had an 8oz option but still so good. Will be back :)

Love this place. Have been here a few times when visiting. The cottage fries are delicious if a bit on the salty side. Have been told the bacon is also a bit too salty. But otherwise very good. Great portions. Unfortunately right now they don’t have listed pricing on their menu because of constant food inflation. Not their fault really. They are always busy so expect a wait.

Wow! Our first time here, and we're so glad we came. This is a really cute local cafe. The food and service were excellent. We had huge omelettes and their giant cinnamon rolls. And the homemade jam for the toast! Delicious, don't miss it! Everything was delicious! We were stuffed and very happy. It's so popular, and seating is limited, so expect a wait ( I couldn't remember if they take reservations), so plan ahead. But it is well worth it. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Cottage Cafe!!

I'm a breakfast extremist! It's my favorite kind of food over all. Cottage Cafe is by far the best breakfast place around! I now know why the wait to get a table on the weekends is long!!! If you haven't tried this place, do it!!! Everything we ordered was delish!!! This will be our go to breakfast place! Wish I would've gotten pics before hand, but it was that good!!! These guys know what they are doing, everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection!
